Disaster Situation

The massive flood in the Mahakali River triggered by continuous rain for three days has so far swept away 72 houses in Khalanga, the headquarters of Darchula district.And in Baitadi district in the country's west, five people were killed on Tuesday morning after a landslide also buried their homes, a local police officer said.
