Disaster Situation

Storm No 16 (Tembin) is a very powerful storm with a wide range of influence. In a report released at 9 am on December 24, the meteorological department issued a fourth level of disaster risk alert, which is only after disaster level 5 - disaster level. As the storm landed in the area with weak resistance and limited experience, the Director General of Vietnam Disaster Management Authority - Tran Quang Hoai requested the evacuation in key islands, estuaries and areas. The evacuation activities must be completed before 18h today Dec 24th), the deep areas inside land area must complete immigrants before 12 noon tomorrow.
