Disaster Situation
Two weather systems affected the eastern and central portions of Mindanao Island, Philippines in January and February 2024. These are the Shearline (January 15-19, 2024) and Trough of a Low Pressure Area (January 28 - February 4, 2024). These systems brough heavy rainfall in the island. resulting to significant flooding.
