From the night of June 8 to the early morning of June 9, there was prolonged heavy rain in Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city, causing widespread flooding in many places, with a potential risk of landslides. Unprecedented heavy rain in the past 10 years caused widespread flooding in Hai Phong and Quang Ninh.
