Disaster Situation
Typhoon Gaemi triggers widespread flooding across southern of Taiwan. Heavy rain led to flooding in several areas of Kaohsiung city. A cargo Fu Shun capsized and sank in the water near the southern port city of Kaohsiung when Taiwan was struck by Typhoon Gaemi. The search and rescue operation is currently ongoing, with no discoveries made yet. The authorities look for SAR data to help search mission.
