Disaster Situation
From November 16–19, 2025, a very large-scale heavy rain event occurred in the Central region of Vietnam, leading to cascading floods. Water levels in many rivers rose rapidly, with some locations surpassing historical peaks. The key provinces affected were: Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak. Reports from functional agencies have recorded casualties, including fatalities and missing persons, and thousands of houses were flooded or damaged across many localities.
