Disaster Situation
Nearly one thousand hectares of steppe blazed last night in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan.
Around 300 personnel and 55 vehicles from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, local executive bodies, and other services were deployed to extinguish the fires. Two aircraft from the Ministry's 'Kazaviaspas' JSC and the 'Kazavialesookhrana' Republican State Enterprise are also operating.
