Disaster Situation
Monson rain starting from July 2016 through out Myanmar has caused increasing in water levels in the rivers. In late July and early August 2016, the river water levels have exceed the danger level and cause flooding along the Chindwin river and Ayeyarwady river in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwaddy regions. Since July 2016 more than 50 thousands people have been affected by flood. Please see detail information for affected people in attached MS Excel file.
